Taloussanomat on Luoman MobileHome
Luoman Oy has started to manufacture log cabins that move on wheels. MobileHome concept is meant for year-round living and consists 40 square meters (less than 400 square feet). During the summer, you can take this mobile log cabin by the lake or on the backyard as guesthouse.
Mobile homes are familiar for Europeans and Americans, but none has made them out of log before this Finnish company. Four (about 12 feet) meters wide and ten (about 33 feet) meters long. This log home can be moved around on trailer. Movable log home is often free from building permit, making it quick way to get your log cabin up and standing.
Main market areas for Luoman MobileHome are in States and Europe. They plan to manufacture 100 to 300 MobileHomes this year. Log cabins leave Finland in pieces and are put together at target country. First MobileHomes are floating on water in England.
Luoman has grown into a multitalented log manufacturer in 23 years of operation. Company manufactures log homes, log cabins, log storages, log carports and other lighter log structures. 90% of their production goes to export markets and this year they aim for 51 million euro turnover.
